David Carradine murió
El recordado actor, David Carradine, deja un gran vació en el mundo cinematográfico, pues fue uno de los personajes más representativos de las artes marciales.John Arthur Carradine nació el 8 diciembre de 1936, hijo del actor John Carradine, y hermanastro de Keith Carradine y Robert Carradine, dio inició a su carrera cinematográfica en el año 1964 en el Western Taggart.
Cabe mencionar que, en el mundo del estrellato del cine, el actor no se desarrolló mucho, pues su imagen quedó encasillada en la serie "Kung Fu" (1972 a 1975), en donde interpretó a Kwai Chang Caine, un monje shaolin chino-estadounidense, que originalmente iba a ser interpretada por Bruce Lee.
Posteriormente, Carradine entregó su actuación al mundo de las artes marciales, ya que protagonizó el filme "El círculo de hierro", en 1983.
A principios de los 90 dirigió, protagonizó y produjo una secuela de la serie de televisión "Kung Fu: La leyenda continúa", la cual fue estrenada en Hispanoamérica.
De entre sus últimas interpretaciones, destaca su papel de "Bill" en la película de Quentin Tarantino, "Kill Bill", al lado de la magistral Uma Thurman.
En el 2009 se estrenó la película "El gran Stan", en la que David hizo el papel de un cruel maestro de artes marciales.
